Vodafone brings you the 22nd Pune International Marathon – Race Against AIDS. So gear up and register to enter the marathon. Join us in leading the race against AIDS.
Pune International Marathon is one of the most significant sporting events in the country. It is organized by the Pune International Marathon Trust (PIMT), under the guidance of the Athletic Federation of India (AFI).
It is due to the initiatives of Mr. Suresh Kalmadi, MP and President of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and Asian Athletic Association (AAA) that this marathon has grown over the past 21 years.
Vodafone’s association with the Pune International Marathon aims at creating HIV / AIDS awareness and raising funds for the cause. It is the main sponsor for the 22nd Pune International Marathon 2007. Vodafone is proud to be associated with an event of such stature.
Race Against Aids
The Pune International Marathon Trust has decided to dedicate the International Marathon towards the cause of AIDS awareness. The Marathon is co-sponsored by the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO), Dept. of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and the Pune Municipal Corporation. It is also supported by AVERT Society, MSACS and Emcure Pharmaceuticals.
